The job of our real estate appraiser is to assign a total, unbiased market value to the property. In order to provide this information, we need to look for certain things that can affect the price for either the seller or buyer. Some of the factors that our experienced real estate appraiser takes into account are health and safety hazards, structural integrity of the home, condition of the home, upgrades or improvements, visible defects and any conditions set by the lender.
A few exterior things our licensed real estate appraiser looks at are the total land area or acreage of your property, condition of the roof, foundation, chimney, driveway, your property’s curb appeal, overall condition and structural integrity of your property. You can expect our professional real estate appraiser to inspect the interior of your home; this may include the amount of livable space, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, working HVAC system, any lead or peeling paint if the property was built before 1979, electrical and plumbing, the condition of the walls, floors and windows and potentially any pests.
